Tools you keep in the car?

well chevette back home i just have a small flathead and a 10 in one screwdriver. i guess you could count 2 bottles of oil and a empty water bottle as tools.

in the s-10 ohhh boy
jumper cables
2 tie downs
roll of electrical tape
stock jack and tire iron
foot square of plywood
another tire iron (yes 2, doesnt fit the truck, more as a defense thing from stupid "idiots" in the crappy end of town...)
cigarette lighter tire inflator compressor
2 cheapo tool kits
2 chains
50 foot rope
speed wrench (easily get those damn plastic lugnut covers off)
buncha spare fuses
spare radiator cap
4 spare lug nuts

prolly some other crap i forgot about lol

precisely why i carry the shillelagh(bat). and perfectly legal, except in blue states perhaps.

Without a license. Without registering the gun. And the crime rates are lower than anywhere else. Win!

You can't keep a loaded rifle in the car (hunting reasons), but pistols are OK.

Oh- I forgot to list my fire extinguisher.

I had to use my first one on another motorist's truck. I saw the flames coming from under his truck (and old beater v6 dakota or s10) as I was driving behind him. He pulled over and got out and I stopped behind him and ran up with my extinguisher. He looked at me funny because he didn't know it was on fire- just that it was running really bad. He had a massive valve cover leak that was dripping oil which was blowing back onto his cat converter and all over the bottom of the truck and down the firewall. He had a bad injector or bad injector O ring so his truck was running way rich/sputtering and the cat was overheating and catching the oil coating on fire.

He really appreciated the help putting it out when he finally saw there was a fire. So I let him use my cell phone to try to call a friend and he calls several numbers but couldn't get anybody. Then he decides to risk it and drive another 20 minutes to his destination. I just let him keep the extinguisher to use if he caught on fire again and told him good luck and went on my way (he didn't want me to give him a ride)

Now I have a new extinguisher in case it happens again with me or someone else.

I used my tow strap today... We needed to move the 1 ton van, and it had been parked in the grass at the far end of the driveway for months. Instead of tearing up the grass because of the rain we've had in the past few days, I just pulled it out with the strap and the GMC K1500 in 4wd low. No lawn damage.

Do friends count as tools? Because I have a few that are and they are occasionally in my car.

I had some friends in the past that could definitely be regarded as complete tools.
