yeah torque is true about nitrous especially with my engine. I tried spraying later and all it did was slow me down. The best run under a 75 shot I got spraying 3.5k was a 16 flat. I got about 200 ft of torque at 2500rpm with a 75 shot. If I had a header it would of been like 230 ft lbs. One guy had a i/h/e 75 shot, auto, safc2, same engine he made 260+ ft lbs.

On the 15.7 run my 60' was a 2.5 ROFL
I quit nitrous because most guys that used it blew their engine. The KA24DE has a weak piston design. Once the pistons and all the other components are upgraded the engine is spectacular. There is even a KA24DE running around that's making 718 whp.

Best NA run is 16.9 I would of broken into the 16.8's but you can see what happened at the track. The engine has potential and so does the tranny. really long gears are good for boost. Especially a lot of boost.

I dropped off the car today. I'll be picking it up Friday.

son of a *****, the fender that I got from Ebay was damaged. I didn't open it completly because I gave it to the body shop.

There goes another $50 to take out 4 dents out of a NEW fender. Unbe****inglievable

... you need to learn more. longer gears are only better if your having trouble with traction.

I know that. And it's really bad if you have short gears on a turbo car because it won't hook up. That's why a lot of people complain about traction in the 1st 2 gears because they are the shortest.

so traction is good for boost, not long gears. once a gear wont break loose your going to want all of the others to be relatively close.

Traction is good period. It doesn't matter what you have but it's good. Unless traction is too good and you start breaking parts.

Jared was saying that gearing and traction are different things, and that gearing isn't the best way to fix traction.
