ScanGauge feedback wanted

Has anyone tried a ScanGage before? How hard was the installation? Is it worth the $250 or so?

I have one, but they're only $170. Love it. The amount of data it can tell you is pretty amazing. It is all alphanumeric though, no graphic gauges.

For most of the data it collects, you can gather it as:

instantaneous

this trip

today

yesterday

this tank

This includes (but is not limited to):

MPG

gallons used

$$ cost

miles

time

avg and top speed

max rpms

engine temps

and more.

If you have an engineer's desire to measure, profile, compare, and optimize, this is one fun auto gadget. Also useful for hypermile-ing.
