Keep this thread alive. When I have time AND energy simultaneously, I'll figure out a way to automate the work. I should be able to make a CSV by saving the gaslog as html or text, cleaning it up a bit (vertical selection feature in Notepad++ FTW!), and so on.
Actually, come to think of it, if you're willing to use Internet Explorer and Microsoft Office for a moment, you may be able to just drag the page from IE into Excel. There's some really good integration there, and I recently made a CSV of a table on another website that way. |
Ok, another thread just reminded me. I tried using Excel, works like a charm. Here's what I wrote in that thread:
Quote:
- skip step 6 above - delete any columns and rows you don't want (don't just delete the data, delete the actual column/row: use Edit->Delete in reasonable versions or Delete from the Home ribbon in 2007 (stupid ribbon crap)) - rearrange the columns if necessary - File->Save As - select CSV format - enjoy Edit: You can also do it with OpenOffice or online with Google Spreadsheets, and you don't need to use IE -- in fact, if you don't use IE and/or don't use Excel your results will be better. |
