The utube video next to that one shows some guys taking one up to 80 mph but I think it was in top gear all the time. 80 was a nice cruising speed for mine - didn't get to that speed much however - top speed was about 94mph and still the gas pedal didn't do anything past half way to the floor.

94 MPH is fast enough for most. I once had an 86 Caprice with the police package going about 125 MPH with the lights & sirens running on I-95. Man that car was a lot of fun. It was kinda sad when we retired it and the squad bought these crappy Ford Explorers. They didn't handle nearly as well as the Caprice did, and the one time I went to use the 4wd the truck still got stuck :(

Good fun! Reminds me a little of the real ad for some economy car where they compared stats and each time it was better the opposing car's doors blew off. The last one was against a Porsche, and the camera swapped and their doors blew off instead. They then gave the price and said that at that cost, they could afford to get their doors fixed.

Couldn't remember enough to find the ad, alas.

This guys a liar. He doesnt have 55 horsepower. Thats the XFI model! :p
