any big changes for next year

Post up your plans for next year be it an aero mod or a new ride.

I'm planning to buy a Mazda 323 for commuting and racing and the wagon will be kept to haul stuff and take trips with. I had a 323 previously and I saw 40+mpg regularly.

I am planning on paying off my wife's element and hopefully free up some money in the monthly budget.

I also plan on keeping the cavalier running for another few years.

(I know, not what you meant but it is a big step for me)

we are planning to sell one of our camaros and buy a 4 cyl accord or similar vehicle.

I want to put on a front air dam on the Excursion and on my trailer. I have some used conveyor belt material for it. Just a matter of finding time to do it. Would like to put some aero aids on the back of the trailer. Maybe Airtabs.

Considering having a new tune flashed on to my DP Tuner. Would like to have the torque converter lock up and lower speeds, and I'd like the transmission to shift earlier too. Would keep my RPM's lower, keep it locked up, and keep the ECM in DFCO longer too.

I have a new Patriot so I am going to work on making extra payments. Right now my mileage is nearly double what my little pick up was getting. My next duty station is the last station I was at, in CA, so I will be looking for a small house or apartment in town so I can walk or ride my bicycle nearly everywhere. The Jeep will probably only be used for backpacking, surfing, kayaking and hunting.

edit: and installing my Scangauge, the two sided tape does not stick well in sub freezing temps.

My car is getting the transmission oil changed next year when it reaches the 30,000 mile mark.
