changes to the aptera?
 

I just went to their site www.aptera.com and notice that it has been updated but also noticed that it now has rear view mirrors and rear windows (*edit* I mean to say rear-side windows). also the side windows have lines in them as if to only roll down part of the glass instead of the entire window. did they can the camera idea?

I didn't know if anyone else has seen this and wanted to spread it around. maybe someone else has seen a press release or something.

maybe you had to have side view mirrors that didn't rely on electronics to keep them running for state law. that is just a theory.

Yup, the current design has side-view mirrors and only one camera.

Cameras are not 3D - mirrors are - you can see depth in a mirror not on a camera screen - nice idea for seeing what is behind you but not good for judging distances.
