A picture is better than a thousand words, but I don't see the goal of your message.

I would be so proud to have one with a vertical axis on my roof aside my PV solar panels :

(yes, I have shades at sunset in autumn - see my PV thread on EcoRenovator)
but wind isn't regular enough by here and I'm not in a region with wind intensives.

Here in France, windmill fields aren't installed where people can hear them from their houses. Newer vertical axis rotors (aimed at personal use) are as quiet as whispers.
