Facebook post not working?
 

when i add a fuel-up it is not auto-posting to facebook. here is what is checked under settings, i added a fuel up today and it did not post.

[x] Facebook: (my name) (reset)

Activity to share:
[x] All fuel-ups
[ ] Best tanks
[ ] New cars and motorcycles in your garage

Hate to revive an old thread, but same issue here. Did you ever find a solution?

Now that you mention it, I haven't received any Facebook posts either.

Ditto, mine never show up. But a friend of mine who also uses the site, his show.

Now, I did notice when it was working for me, that if I entered the fillup data on the website, it posted to Facebook. If I posted the fillup from my cellphone using the mobile site, it never posted to Facebook.

Same issue - nothing will auto-post to Facebook. I reset and reauthorized and also checked my Facebook app permissions. All looks okay. I DID notice that when the first Facebook authorization pop up appears, it says "This does not let the app post to Facebook." BUT later on in my app permissions, it shows it can.

I posted a fillup to my Escape Hybrid this morning using the Fuelly mobile site, and when I got home, there was a Facebook post on my wall... So Congratulations are in order for whoever fixed it!

Nope still nothing shows up.

I just tried it (desktop) and it worked!

...aaaaand I tried another one (I had two) and it didn't work.

To avoid spamming your wall I think it will only post the first fillup of the day if you do numerous fills.

Worked for me again today...

In the past we have had issues with the facebook integration and the solution was to disconnect your facebook account from your fuelly account and then reconnect it again. It had something to do with a timeout due to time limits and facebook's policies.

Facebook just recently made some changes to their APIs so we'll also need to upgrade the system on our end for those. We are planning to launch a new backend for Fuelly in a few weeks so we'll table the work on the Facebook API until we are on the new system as the developer for the old system is no longer available.

So I reset the facebook link, and linked it again and bingo, my fuel up showed up!

I'd hate to again revive a slightly older thread, but mine still don't work. I've reconnected Facebook multiple times, but only the first fuel up after a reconnect gets shared. What gives?
