ScanGaugeII

Obviously they don't know what they're doing. Its far more than just a mileage gauge.

That's good for the potential buyer... which would be me if it doesn't get bid up.
I only own 1 OBDII vehicle, and it already has an SG, so I won't be bidding against you...
with 6 days left on the auction, it could get stupid. who knows, you could get a good deal. just don't bid more than you are willing to pay. so many people get sucked in by the "I gotta win this one" mentality".
I find the easiest way to avoid that is to bid once and forget about it.
Yeah, I don't have the money to have the "I gotta win this one" mentality. Either I'll get it dirt cheap or not...probably not.
For items that can be bought new, I just figure out the percentage of retail I'm willing to pay, subtract the shipping, and that's that. Unique stuff is a whole different ballgame. I forget what my used scangauge II sold for, but it wasn't very far off of retail.
I was just thinking that if somebody used a significantly positive ebay score as a form of of reference I'd take it seriously. They'd have to prove it was their account, of course.
The Scangague is neat. I like mine anyway. If you can get a used one for around $100 it might be worth it. Any more than that and you might as well just get a new one. Good luck with your bid and let us know what happens in the last bidding hours.
