Phill is dead, his legacy lives on

In short: The Honda-owned company making Phill, the only residential natural gas refueling product in the world, has gone under. The article's headline says that natural gas vehicles are getting more popular but the article fails to mention anything about it.

Funny quote:
FuelMaker was born of automakers' desire to address the public's urge to break or at least lessen its addiction to fossil fuels.
And what is natural gas, exactly? Yeah, yeah, I know, they probably got into low polluting fuels later, but it's still kind of an ironic statement. I'm not going to badmouth SciAm, that's for sure.

I thought the exact same thing when I read that part, too. I hope the writer merely wasn't paying attention and he was really thinking "middle eastern oil" instead of "fossil fuels".

I, of course, have never made any mistakes when writing.

Yeah, right. When I reread my blog entries sometimes I'm really embarrassed. I know I shouldn't apply formal writing standards to blogs and forums, but it's tough.

Not too long ago a story on NPR's Marketplace referenced the non-existence of Santa. The people who listened with small kids in the room really let them have it.
