Hyndai Logo Removal

I want to remove the chromed Hyundai logo on my trunk. Anyone have any idea how to do this without damaging anything? I'll be covering the spot back up again and would replace the logo were I ever to sell the car. Thanks.

There's a name for removing the logos: debadging. Once you know that it becomes easy to find a million HowTos with google.

Awesome. The right search term makes all the difference! Thanks.

I have always heard to use a piece of fishing line, twist it like a twizzler and use it like a saw to cut through the adhesive. afterwards, use an adhesive remover to get rid of the leftover.

this is assuming that it is placed on a flat surface. I can't really tell but is yours inset? if so, disregard what I said. either that or be careful

It's inset, but the edges don't seem to be glued so I can work some fishing line in there. Need to pick up some goo gone.

why do you want to take it off?

Clutter reduction: one thing goes on, another comes off.
