that should help a touch

I know I said I wouldn't but after reading thr manual several times I went for it...

I guess I need to update my signature

Looks good!

Believe it or not, it really changes the character of the car. It looks like a european sport wagon now, before it looked like a dowdy mom-mobile.

in europe they have racks too but yes it looks much more lithe

Jay2TheRescue 05-08-2009 05:10 PM

I was thinking that too, I just didn't say anything...

we will see if there is any improvement in milage (I'm betting there is....) I will be driving out of state in the morning and that will hopefully show a gain.

GasSavers_Ven 05-08-2009 06:23 PM

good luck. I hope you see a difference and it was worth taking it off. If it doesn't work, it looks better with them on. Just sayin. Sorry if that didn't help at all.

GasSavers_Ven 05-08-2009 06:25 PM

the racks make it look like your roof line is higher and gives it a cooler look. BUT, I hope you do see gains from your trip so you feel better about it.

Philip1 05-08-2009 06:34 PM

I like the lower look and even if I don't see a gain I will leave it off. I am pretty sure I will see a healthy gain because the rack added a lot of frontal area and caused a lot of turbulence.

GasSavers_BEEF 05-08-2009 06:34 PM

what did you do about the mounting holes???

I guess I am asking more, what does it look like from above. I assume you have 6 places on your roof of some sort.
