I can't tell if mine is rubber coated and/or has two kinds of corrosion. It goes silver->spotty green->orange->green->orange...it's definitely got at least one kind of corrosion.
The seat in mine looks more like a thin basic sleeve (vs. that picture that looks like a thick detailed nut-like thing).
How about the solenoid...it defaults in the extended position, I can push it in smoothly and easily, and it springs back out. Is that correct? I have to try applying 12v to it and see what happens. I guess it doesn't matter much since I have my inline valve now, I just have to remember to kill the engine with the valve rather than the key. |
