2010 cars...

The Mazda 3...has to be the happiest car I've ever seen...kinda looks a little like a catbus...

The Mitsubishi Outlander...looks like an Edsel about to go postal...

I heard or read somewhere recently that people like cars that look like them...

The only new car to actually get me interested in a long long time is the FT86 from toyota. 2.0 Subaru boxer engine with direct injection, on the street in 2012.

Even though they are calling it a concept, this is the final shape.

I'll stick with this car for a new car that looks nice:

The front end doesn't matter, because let's face it...nobody will ever see the front end for long.

I saw this on Caranddriver.com. I really like the looks and idea of it. A modern-day Celica. Subaru motors are not known for being the most fuel-efficient (some of that is attributed to the all wheel drive on their entire lineup), but I suppose they wanted the boxer style motor for the low hoodline. Let's hope it gets decent mileage with a manual, unlike their new Legacy, which gets 23/31 mpg with the CVT but only 18/25 with the manual.

I hope the car is as light as it looks. I hate the recent trend toward increased weight. BMW 5-series and 5-series GT bordering on 5,000 lbs? Ridiculous! The 3-series is creeping up on 4,000. Toyota and Honda are at least holding the line, although the Accord and Camry are getting a little heavier than I'd like. The Altima is still the lightest mainstream mid-size family sedan (in 4-cylinder form).

Ugliest new car for 2010? Acura ZDX. It makes the Aztec look good. Other new Acuras, from the TSX to the TL and RL also turned me off with the "Beaky" look.

It just means we have to fabricate even bigger grille blocks...

It's partially regulation-driven but mainly market-driven. The car market has to compete with big, heavy SUVs. People pay for bigger, more comfortable, more powerful cars; otherwise they'll keep paying for bigger heavier SUVs.

Maybe they're doing it just for us, so we can see even bigger gains. :p

yea i dont mind the new camaro that much (wouldnt mind a new challenger but not for 40K... frickin rediculous:rolleyes: )

the camaro i like the back end but the front is too pointy... i like the design if it were flatter like that style of camaro they were goin after (dont really like the pointed mid-late 70's camaros either)
