bumper envy

TomO redid his bumper a while back and I thought it looked great. I decided to try my hand at it. my first attempt went horribly wrong.

I finally sucked it up and tried again. I am not one to admit defeat (though this got me down for a while).

here are some pics of the process

if any are interested in the whole story, here is the youtube vid

I will admit that mine isn't near as neat and finished as TomO's bumper. he was my inspiration and thanks to him also for the advice and encouragement. all in all, it took about 2 weeks and cost between $80 and $90 but I had no sand paper or body working tools (that price also includes the cost of the bumper itself)

I have many more pics throughout the process but they are all in the vid.

Looks great to me! I'll have to check out the video at home as work blocks youtube videos.

Just remember: You are always your own worst critic.

There are imperfections and flaws on my bumper. But I just tell myself "It's a winter bumper" and know that my summer bumper will look even better, lol.
