This is AWESOME!

Someone posted this to another forum to laugh at it. IMO, while its starting point was no overacheiver and even improved it's not that fast, I can seriously respect the work that was done.

Looks totally clean and stock. All the work was done under the hood.

The fact that the battery appears to be as large as the engine is pretty LOLworthy, though.

Up for sale is a 92 Geo Metro 3cyl 5spd. That is highly modified. I bought the car from the orginal owner with 70,000 miles on it. I have owned it since 05. I have done everything you can do to a n/a 3cyl. All the work has about 8,000 miles on it. Always changed the oil with Castrol Synthetic after the break in of 1500 miles. The car could use some type of tuning. Like safc or somethin simple like that. The cam is real lopey but it runs great. Sitll gets 45 mpg on average. $4500.00 Call Anytime 662-897-6294

3tech performance: Cam, timing Gear, 9mm plug wires, Underdrive pulley.

3tech performance: Also did all the head work. Port and polish, 3 angle valve job, Shaved the head for 10.5 to 1 compression.

Suzuki Racing Development Header Jet Hot Coated and full exahaust
The bottom end is .30 over. The crank was turned .10

Act performance clutch
Msd Sport Compact Ignition and Coil
Bored Throttle body from 36mm to 42mm

This car has tons of stuff done. I have a insane amount of money tied up into this car. It is very reliable and I would not be scared to drive it to California. I am probably forgeting other stuff. But if your really interested just ask.

Dyno numbers please.

spotaneagle 03-10-2010 04:24 AM

hahaha look at those exhaust headers!

I think it's GREAT! Ultimate sleeper, and probably does get great mileage. I've been wanting to do pretty much the exact same thing. How awesome would it be to pass a "Ricer" in that? I don't understand that huge battery, though, either. My engine bay looks like that because the rear bank of cylinders is hidden ;)

GasSavers_BEEF 03-11-2010 04:35 AM

I don't think that the increases would be that much. maybe I am wrong but those things stock were under 60hp. even double that would only be 120hp.

I really think the dyno numbers wouldn't be over 100 or so. my though would be to drop a small V6 in there and start with a baseline of 150+hp and then mod it up to 200+. that would be a sleeper

at the same time, I may be completely wrong.

Yeah the chassis couldn't handle the power first off - that was a prettu impressice 0-90 run on the video - Only got my Geo up to 90+ once in my life I think although I did run 85mph in the rain at night for many miles on a trip to Alabama back in 2001. Gassed up 3 times in one day that day - never drove so far so fast in my life. Wonder why he has the came belt cover off??? YEAH that is a big battery. Hey I saw a wreck Geo in a junk yard once with the head off and the crank out the block was REALLY short looking down the cylinder bores - maybe a foot deep - really a tiny motor that put out stock 54hp.

spotaneagle 03-11-2010 10:41 AM

sleeper? does that mean the ride puts the passengers to sleep?

pgfpro 03-11-2010 11:06 AM

Man that thing is slow.LOL

All those mods and the thing still probably doesn't make over 100whp.:(
