VX exhaust difference between CA and FED?
My FED VX has a catalytic below the manifold.
Is the CA VX similar or is the catalytic in the middle of the car near the shifter? |
Probably just as you described.. Actually the VX isn't the only car to do that, at the very least the '96+ Civics with the D16Y7 all have that type of catalytic converter/exhaust manifold. That would mean the majority of Civics save for the Si and EX. However, since you're talking about the VX which is a '92-'95 Civic, here is what I found in the service manual. The '92-'95 Civic CX and VX both share the same type of exhaust manifold and catalytic converter while all the other Civics of that era have a traditional exhaust manifold and catalytic converter.
