1992 Civic VX for Sale - Michigan
 

I'm selling my 1992 Civic VX. I bought it off the original owner 2 years ago at 277,000 miles. I've put another 2000 miles on it since I've owned it. Runs real good. It is stock with the exception of an aftermarket exhaust system. The car's engine has nearly perfect compression - 190 across the board. This thing will run forever. The miles are almost all highway miles, and was a DD for the previous owner for almost 15 years. He was an older man who drove it responsibly. I put 2 new front tires on it and replaced the 5-wire O2 sensor. Lean burn works great on this one. Also replaced brake pads - they are new.

Also, I replaced the timing belt and water pump right when I got this ($500) to be safe and sound - as any good Honda owner should.

This car also has the AC option, but does need a recharge.

The pros are that mechanically, the car is good. The cons are that there is the typical Civic rear quarter rust, and rust under the hatch release. The hood is also slightly discolored from some over-exposure to the sun. Basically, if you did some light bodywork and a MAACO respray, you could have a respectable ride and get upwards of 40mpg.
