Honda Civic VX timing help!!!

I've checked the normal resources, but I can't figure this problem out, so bear with me.

I'm trying to adjust the timing on my 1994 VX. All the resources I've checked say to jump a simple connection under the passenger dash. I can't find this connection though- I was jumping the blower motor, but after a lot of smoke, I figured that wasn't the correct connection:

I've taken some pictures of the location I'm looking at. If someone could be kind enough to point out what I'm missing, that'd be great.

Thanks!

Area where I'm looking:

Not one of these, is it?

This one?

I think that last connection is suppose to be connected to this, but I'm not sure. Right now it's hanging loose.

Thanks for any help once again!

Thanks for the link. I've seen that diagram before, but my question is related to the connection that you're suppose to jump. I can't seem to find it, and was asking if it was one of the wires that I posted pictures of.

Thanks!

Mine were brown and black wires. In your pics I don't see them?

The second to the last picture is brown/black.

I jumped those, and moved the distributor back and forth. The timing definitely changes, but I can't get it all the way to the middle of the three timing lines. I can get it to the TDC line, but pushing it all the way to the front of the car brings it close to the three lines, but not quite there, maybe 1/4 inch from the first of the three timing lines? Perhaps I'm looking at it from the wrong angle or something..
