Source for small appliance belts

The company that made my breadmaker no longer offers parts for it. The drive belt rotted and disintegrated.

Google led me to some sources for another company's belt that will fit but the best price I can come up with is $11. I'd rather do it cheaper. Any suggestions where I can find a belt, about 23 1/2 inches circumference, about 1/4 inch thick? What other things use similar belts?

For oddball parts I've usually had good luck going to a Sears appliance parts store and ordering it.

HolyCow,
Have you tried an electronic supply house?
The belt size and type are often used for projects.

Best and only idea I have!

Peter.

The super cheap solution is zip ties.

I've made many a belt out of zip ties; hook several together and cut off the excess. Use the larger, most flexible ones you can find.

They'd likely last many loaves.. I used them on a keymaker I have; several keys made with no problems.
Best of all, you've got them in the garage already!

Otherwise, Tractor Supply has a great supply of V-belts. I don't know if that'll work, but maybe.

Good thoughts!

We have a second machine we've been using but it's not as good.
