Crude Oil at 91 a barrel

I just noticed that Crude Oil went up yesterday to 91 a barrel. I wonder if it will stay up this time?

Since this topic is relevant to the focus of this site, I'm moving out of the off-topic forum.

many believe it will continue going up, while jobs and housing continue downward. related? somewhat.

Our regular gasoline prices went from $2.80 a gallon to $3.00+ in about the last two weeks. Its like the vendors new that crude was on its way up?

Now I wonder if it will go past $3.25 a gallon in the next weeks to come.

This gives me some incentive to get back on my fuel projects.;)

Maybe I should snag a new Chevy Cruze ECO when they hit the streets in January, and sell it 6 months later for a profit when the dealers can't keep them in stock.

You may want to buy one to drive it the price of crude and gas continue to rise.

Of course I'd drive it... but if I could re-sell it for a profit of a few thousand, that would buy a lot of gas for the Harley. Remember last time prices spiked? People were asking $5,000 for ragged out diesel Escorts.

I typically see gas prices jump during high travel holidays. I hope prices at the pump drop a little after the holidays.

I recall an economist on a news program saying that we have not had $3.00 a gallon gas at Christmas before....wondering if that's true, or if I heard it wrong?

Also seem to remember that it was when gas spiked up in 2008 that the price of small used economy cars soared.

China is buying-up every raw material on earth and the rest of the world is locking-up as much of what they need as they can. There is huge demand for the life-blood of the modern world, oil, and that is driving up prices, especially since our government has removed American production from the supply.
