1991 HONDA CIVIC CRX HF (stock) - 53 mpg I have a 1991 Honda Civic Crx HF model, which has a STOCK engine. I am asking $2200 OR BEST OFFER !! (yes, you can haggle a bit with me)
This car runs PERFECTLY. This car will get over 55 mpg ALL DAY / EVERY DAY !! This car is my "daily driver" that I drive to work and back daily. This car has NEVER left me stranded and runs GREAT !!

We are selling the car since we have a newborn baby now and need to sell this ( as its only a two seater) so we can get another car with 4 seats (for baby seat, carry stroller, etc). Most of you have probably been in my position at some point.

I bought the car at 165,000 miles and 95% of the mileage since then was HIGHWAY MILES ONLY !

current mileage is 248,000...

I HAVE GOTTEN UP TO 67 MPG on this car ( all highway driving under 65mph) !!

Here is the LATEST / NEW upgrades to the car ( maintenance), done recently

NEW TIMING BELT, THERMOSTAT, WATER PUMP , NEW RADIATOR FLUID (changed out) , NEW NGK SPARK PLUGS, SPARK PLUG WIRES, ROTOR AND CAP
SYNTHETIC OIL CHANGED OUT EVERY 5000 MILES (highway miles) , NEW TIRES (KUMHO) , NEWER RADIO , NEW COIL , NEW STARTER , NEW MUFFLER , REPLACED TRANNY FLUID
NEW DURALAST (autozone) BATTERY

-DOES NOT HAVE A/C (never was installed on this car)

The BAD ITEMS ARE :
-Heater is not working currently, but connection to heater and all that is functional (as I checked last weekend) - not sure why heater isnt working, as the items/cables / hoses ARE connected
-blower motor just stopped working ( for climate control ). Its "stuck" ( as I checked it last weekend as well ) - see attached pic
- CV joint (passenger side) is starting to pop a bit on hard turns, but still works fine. might need to be changed out in the next year or so

HOWEVER, the car is still running perfectly, as its STILL my 'daily driver" and i drive it to work and back ..and also to san antonio each week. I average about 2500 miles/month, but again...its all highway miles and I generally DO NOT go over 72 mph (mostly to save gas). I dont "hot rod" this car...and sure dont rag it out, as I have needed this car for work and it has never left me stranded.
