bleeding of the transmissiom
Is there any body out there know anything about if auto transmission
Do you have to bleed the lines to the tx cooler if you get air in it? |
Re: bleeding of the transmissiom
AFAIK there is no need to bleed it. Any bubbles should work themselves out quickly while running or within a few seconds after shutting down, when the entire system drains back into the pan.

Re: bleeding of the transmissiom
^ I second that. I've done dozens of transmission fluid exchanges on cars at several jobs and I've never once had a problem. The cooler lines typically drain back into the pan so they seldom see more than a few PSI and lines and cooler can be cheaper.
