pure gas vs. E10?

If both gas stations are side by side, how much more would you pay for the pure gas?

Re: pure gas vs. E10?

Supposedly E10 has 3.4% less BTU per gallon than E0. So- paying 3.3% more for E0 would seem reasonable (about 11 cents if gas is 3.50 per gallon)

But different engines likely have different reactions to E10, in some the mpg penalty may be less than 3.4% and in others it may be more than 3.4%.

I would probably pay just 5 cents more if it was 3.50 per gallon.

I found a station near my house with pure gas, the price is $.08 more per gallon. I'm trying it now to see what affect it has on mileage.
