1988 civic (d15z1) finishing touches... hopefully (wiring)

My engine is mostly hooked up expect for a few extra wires
A17 (Iab solenoid)
A23 (PG1, ground)
A25 (Igp2)
A26 (Lg1)
B1 (Igp2)
B2 (Lg2)
D4 (SCS)
D6 (Vtec pressure switch)

I'm working with a conversion harness. From what i've seen the IAB solenoid may not be required? I'm not really sure what to do with the wires, A23, A25, A26, as well as B1, And B2. D4 is spliced to one wire which leads into my obd0 harness and there is an extra which im not sure how to use. And that leaves D6, the pressure switch, on my engine the vtec solenoid has a bolt inplace of the switch so i'm curious as to if that is required. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. thanks

IAB is found on the GSR and some Prelude motors, so you're ok not having that one hooked up since there is not Intake Air Bypass on a Z1 motor.

The bolt in place of the switch is odd, any way you can post a picture of the VTEC solenoid so we can see? I'll double check my VTEC Solenoid during lunch as well. There should be a single pin connector for VTEC actuation and then am oil pressure two pin connector just below the VTEC solenoid.

I'll see if I can dig up the ECU pinout for the Z1 and look at those other pins for you.

THIS LINK should have some useful info.

From what I see:
A17 - Intake Air Bypass (commonly referred to as "Intake Butterflies", won't be connected in your case)
A23 - Power Ground 1 (Connect to ground)
A25 - Ignition Power Source 2 (connect to Main Relay power)
A26 - Logic Ground 1 (Connect to ground)
B1 - Ignition Power source 2 (connect to same source A25 does)
B2 - Logic Ground 2 (ground to shields for CYP & TDC Brown/Blk, Less than 1V EQUAL)
D4 - Service Check Signal (this is connected to D22 to check engine codes for OBD1 cars, you may want to connect a momentary ON switch to be able to check any codes that may be thrown)
D6 - VTEC Pressure Switch (should connect to the one wire on your VTEC solenoid)

Hope this helps you out a bit. I'll add more if I get a chance to figure out anything more detailed

Now i'm sure this a stupid question, there is large white cable, near the battery, do you know where this attaches?

Thanks again

And do i need an EGR box?

The large white cable, actually should be two of them, one attaches to the under hood fuse box from the alternator (the 10 or 12mm single bolt on the post of the alternator) the other one should go from the fuse box to the positive battery cable:
Here's the 92-95 Underhood Fuse Box, it should be similar enough to the one for your CRX to figure out.

And yes, you will need an EGR control box.

Hope it helps! :D

Main relay is behind the dash by the hood release and coin pocket in the '88-'91 civic/crx.
