Transmission swap
 

Does anyone know if you can swap in an Insight (1st gen) manual transmission into a Civic hybrid (1st gen). I will be in the market for a Civic hybrid in the future and like the Insight gear ratio, but need the 4 doors for my family. If the transmissions are not interchangeable are the gears of the transmission interchangeable?
