Here, mine was #6. But there was also another at # 2. Are both to be used at the same time?

If so this would explain my oil usage after I replaced and then fixed part of my PCV / hose and connector.

No, you should not have two PCV valves. You should have one at location 6 OR one at location 2. Not sure what comes stock since each car now appears to have a random location.

However, it appears that in my case, this 1992 VX had the original PCV valve still in use when I removed it finally last year; at location 2 in the link you provided. It's just a hollow elbow at location 6.

Just ordered no. 2 and 4 and no. 2 is a hollow plastic connector and of course 4 is the corresponding rubber hose and grommet combo ($17.00ish), so I'll keep the pcv valve at location no. 6. Just a FYI whatcha get at Honda when you order no. 2 it was the cheapeast of the two valves ($5.00ish) so I'll just use a standard Purolator PCV valve at no. 6, and be done with it, cause right now I also have two PCV valves installed.

Well I finally installed the PCV connector in the side of the chamber and the new rubber line from the chamber to the manifold location. So here is the outcome; the new line is manditory because the PCV valve in the side of the chamber had a much smaller dia. end going into the smaller original rubber line. The pass thru PCV connector also had a larger dia. end that the new line matched up with. For the final problem I did not purchase the grommet that goes into the chamber. This is also manditory because the new PCV connector has a slightly smaller dia. end that goes into the chamber then the OEM PCV valve. Luckily I had a PCV connector from some other Honda engine that worked just fine. So you cannot install the PCV valve in the chamber with the new parts that Honda lists in the catalog. You must install it at the manifold location with the PCV connector at the chamber location.
So the items needed are #2, #3 and #4, The PCV connector ,the grommet and the hose. Good Luck...
