I'm baaaack!
 

I thought I'd post here again just to say that I am back here. I have previously been on here with my Chevy Colorado truck and my Chevy Cavalier station wagon. Now I am on here with my 2001 Mitsubishi Mirage.

However this time it is different for me. Now, I MUST get better FE. Why you might ask, well because I am traveling for work, and I DO NOT get reimbursed for mileage. To top it off, I am driving, A LOT!!!! Since June 20th I have put over 89 gallons of gas into this car!! Seeing how it has been averaging just over 30 mpg, that equates close to 3,000 miles in one month. Ohh yeah, that reminds me, I need to get an oil change done this weekend! :D

Keep track of those work miles. With a decent fuel economy, you can come out ahead using the flat mileage rate for deductions at tax time. You might even be able to adjust your with holding now to keep the expected refund in your pocket now.
