My nephew has a 1999 or 2000 Cavalier Z24. Nice little car, he has somewhere between 140,000 and 150,000 miles on it now. Aside from replacing the a/c compressor and some brake work, he's been rolling trouble free. At least I already had the tools from Harbor Freight to work on the a/c, so we were able to get that done economically.

So, friday I got rid of the cavalier. It had 264,306.6 miles on it. I got $325 from the local pull-a-part. It was sad to see it go but it did have issues and I already have the replacement. Now time to do all the maintenancy stuff to it (and add cruise control. I'm excited about the new(ish) car.

Obviously it will take some time for get used for new things, once we get quite familiar to a certain thing it's pretty hard to miss it.

Nice, you got your money's worth out of the Cavi. How are you liking the Corolla? I'm thinking about one of those 9th gen Corollas to replace my Echo when (if? Lol) it ever craps out.

Congrats on your milestone...
