Seafoam vs Berryman b12 chemtool
 

Hello everyone, this is my first thread here and sorry to bring up something old so please don't flame me. I hope it is in the correct forum.

Just curious about what people use. I myself have done the seafoam thing but doubt I ever will again after reading the msds ( listed below). I do use Berryman b12 chemtool in every engine I have (gas tank only) and use oil change intervals as a reminder.

I have seen a home mix for Seafoam of 4 parts diesel: 2 parts gasoline : 1 part IPA.

Most of the Berryman components can be found in the paint section of a hardware store.

I have used the Seafoam mix for gasoline stabilizer. IIRC, it's 1oz per gallon on the Seafoam can. If I ever get a PCV catch can together for my wife's car, I'll use it to can out the intake system. Plenty of oil has gotten into it.
