I have everything I need. Everything to build it. I just need the amp results. I'm not going to put something in my car that I don't know how many amps it draws. The altima alternator is crap as is, I don't need to kill it faster. I think I'll buy a new car before I get the amp results. My goal is to buy a 2007 or 2008 model car, no joke.

Fran Giroux at hydrogen-boost.com told me once that you could hook a batterycharger up to the unit before you put it into the car to see how many amps it's pulling. Or you could wire it up to a car battery and put an amp meter in series with it to test before you are comitted by mounting it in the car.

Good Idea.. but won't work until you can produce the hydrogen with less electrical energy than it creates when combusted. Electrolysis is becoming more efficient everyday but it is not yet at the level where it would succesfully break the bonds of hydrogen and oxygen with less energy than the seperated gasses themselves or together. If you do a little research before wasting your money you may thank me later.

I've already wasted the money :D ! The "energy in energy out argument" does make sense at first. However, the goal is not to create more energy. The goal is to modify the flame spread in the cylinder in order to make it more efficient, (i.e. a special kind of octane booster?). However, from what I am gleaning, the H2 generator doesn't help unless you are in a "lean burn" state. It works best with high compression diesels because they are already lean-burn engines. There are already "bolt-on" products on the market for diesel trucks in the trucking industry. They can use standard-issue electrolysis or a different mechanism that uses a portion of the diesel fuel to produce the hydrogen. Here is the one I have been tracking :
