How do I measure gas in my n600?

On my Honda n600 the gas inlet is so small that the gas nozzle will not fit correctly. This means it will not automatically shut off when the tank is full.

So it's going to be more than difficult to accurately measure MPG in this car.

The last time I filled up it actually overflowed out of the car.

Any suggestions?

(BTW, it has like a 5-6 gallon tank).

lol

dude where I live all the gas pumps do that on my car lol

anyway

What if you just listen to the changing tone of the fill as it creeps up the filler neck?

Otherwise you should remove that filler neck and modify it so that the nozzle is able to enter deeper. I'd mod it so it burys it all the way to the handle. All pump handle (nozzles) have a shut off sensor in them when they detect a pool of gas. If you fill up slowly you may just be able to get it to shut off gently like I do it...I have to cuz these stations here are sooo ghetto

Bring red tanks of gas and some sort of filling stick, or something like that, I dunno.

That's what I'm thinking -- you may have to fill a separate container of some kind and use that to fill up, but spillage may be inevitable. Accurate fill ups may have to suffer unless you replace the filler tube with a straighter one (not sure if that's an option).
