GasTracker 2.0.1, Approved by Apple

Apple has just approved our GasTracker 2.0.1 bug fix update and in the next hour or so you should see it live in the App Store. It may take a few hours before it shows up as an available update (hard to predict when Apple enables that for a new app update).

This update includes the following bug fixes:
  • Fix for individuals who use trip miles instead of odometer as their vehicle tracking setting. Sorry about the miss there. All fixed now for you fine folks.
  • Fixed a few of the efficiency buttons that weren't taking you directly to the fuelup they referenced
  • Fixed re-login issue occurring for some individuals
  • Fixed menu sidebar not scrolling if you have more than 5 vehicles
  • Added ability to send our support team debugging details from the app, if you need us to help resolve any issues (this is accessible from Settings)

After we submitted this build to Apple I identified a few additional fixes needed specifically for iOS 6 so if you are running iOS 6 and having crashing issues with the app or are unable to make the app work on iOS 6 the *next* update will be the big one for you. I'm submitting this next update now so hopefully in the next few days Apple will approve it as well.

Thanks for your patience as we continue to improve Fuelly and GasTracker.

Here's the App Store link, and again it may take an hour or so before you see it updated with version 2.0.1:

Thanks for fixing the trip miles.

The trip distance entry isn't allowing decimal inputs. Made sure the app was updated, and when I try to put in 290.1 miles, it switches to 2,901 miles and doesn't put in the decimal.

+1 on the decimal problem. AWESOME update though. Thanks for reinstating trip miles. The decimal is a dealbreaker on being able to use it though.
