holy crap. When my engine swap is done and my MPG baseline is set I need to apply for this program. Hopefully 50mpg highway will qualify!

to qualify, the vehicle has to get 50+ mpg (US) in the EPA's official city cycle rating.

according to the city's web site only 3 vehicles made since 1994 currently qualify: the '94 Metro XFi being one of them - woo hoo metro!! (care to guess the other 2?)

I think they should of lowered it to 40mpg city. Also, There is no way a prius gets 60mpg city like the epa says.
