Hello everyone.

Hello from Pittsburgh PA. I'm Jason, I found out about this site through Matt Timion on Honda-Tech.com. Just as Matt's into old Honda's with his N600, I am as well with a 1964 Honda S600.

Anyway, I hope to learn more about gas saving, my 92 Accord dipped below 30mpg for the first time since I've owned it. Probably just needs a tune up.

Welcome Jason. People into old Hondas are always welcome here :) Post up your s600 pictures if you don't mind.

As for gas saving, what info can you give on your accord? What trim is it? What is it's stock weight? Any chance you want to get rid of your climate controls? :P

WHERE did you get an S600?!

:o WHERE did you get an S600?! I have to see pictures of it! I really want an N600, but that's only because S600's and S800's are next to impossible to find! Did you have to import the car? How was registration tackled?

Here's a few pics of my S600:

Regarding my Accord, it's a 92 2-door, 5 speed, EX model. Listed curb weight is 2738 lbs. I think it's listed as getting 25/28 mpg, but I was always able to squeez 30+ with a combination of city/highway driving. No, I don't want to sell my climate controls :P

Damn... too late. There was one on ebay yesterday, but it looks like someone made the seller an offer he couldn't refuse.

Welcome to the site.

Cool, I'm actually live in the town of Hopewell, in Beaver County, about 1/2 hour drive from the actual city of Pittsburgh. Anyway, go STEELERS.

Years of searching my friend. I found this car for sale in TN, and had it shipped to me in PA. The car was imported many years ago by someone in the military who was stationed in Japan in the mid to late 60s. Back then there where little to no rules on car importation, so the car was US titled, and registered soon after he brought it here. I have a clear title in hand, I have yet to get the car registered in my state, but it should be simple since the car has a US title from another state.

sweet ride. I didn't say anything because I had no idea what a s600 looks like. I live in clairton, pa (30-45 min).

DaX, if you want a s600 I know someone who might be able to help. Washington State allows classic cars to be registered from other countries without a hitch. After it's imported and registered in WA it can be transferred anywhere.

check out www.littlecartrader.com. This is the guy that can get it in for you. Very knowledgable on small cars.
