V8 gets over 40 MPG

Wow, that's impressive. It's even better than what I can squeeze out of the V6 TDI in my A8.

You have a lot of potential in that Audi. I was part of a group that drove some Audi TDI's from LA to NYC last fall. I was in a Q5 that averaged 38 MPG, and the A4 and A6 both averaged 42 MPG.

That's good to hear. I just started caring about how many MPG I can get out of it, but I'm still pretty new to the field so the MPG I'm putting out is still not great.

European diesels must be the most efficient in the World now, and the cleanest.

It is on my short list, I might just end up getting an A7 TDi thansk to that hatch. But, the A8 TDi is very high.

Also, it's a 6 cyl, not a V8.
