My L/KM and L/100KM is not working.
 

Hello,

Both my vehicles' details are not being calculated.

Only on my Defender it shows a L/KM for my last fuelup.

For my other FuelUps it shows 0.00 or NA.
They used to be there, but is not showing now.

Hi there, I hope I can clear up why you're not seeing MPG calculated for your vehicles. The easiest way is to look at your Fuel Log, which I'll link.

The Defender-

You're tracking by Odometer, so the first fill-up is your starting point and therefore wont show any MPG.
Your second fill was marked Partial, so it and the following (third) will not calculate MPG.
Your fourth fill was marked Missed and therefore would not calculate MPG.

Similar situation. First fill starting point, 2nd was a Partial, 3rd is skipped because of the partial, 4th marked as partial therefore skip the 5th.
Not sure what you mean that they used to be there... unless you recently edited them to mark them as Partial/Missed, etc.

This is a totally different case from above, but a relatively simple one to "fix".

Your odometer entry for Aug 11, is less than the odometer entered for Aug 9.
Please double check these entries and make the necessary corrections.

This does not seems correct.
Yes, the first entry is a starting point.
Yes, a partial should not show anything.
But, Once I fill up completely the preceding partials should be added to the fuel up and the KM/L calculated over the total KM and Liters for the entries. This is how you do it in a normal log book.

A partial can't be completely ignored as it counts towards the total Liters for the final full fuel up.

So, on my Log:
For Mahindra:
There should be readings for:
* Jun 12 2014 (Jun 10 2014 + Jun 12 2014)
* Jul 1 2014 (Jun 27 2014 + Jul 1 2014)

For Land Rover:
* May 4 2014 (Apr 16 2014 + May 4 2014)
* Jul 31 2014 (Jul 31 2014, the missed counts as a restart and not partial)

Fuelly won't calculate MPG for the Partial fill or the next. However, your partial fills will contribute to your overall average MPG.

There has been quite a bit of interest expressed that we need to rethink how Fuelly handles the full fill-up following the Partial, like you mentioned. It's on our To-Do list for a future update. I do not have an estimated date as to when this will be implemented at this time however.

You have to include the partial Liters into the calc otherwise the km/L will be incorrect on the full fuel up.

The formula is easy:
KM: Current full fuel up ODO - Previous Full fuel up ODO = total KMs over all fuel ups
Liters: Current full fuel up Liters + liters for all partial fuel ups since previous full fuel up.
Then it is just KM / Liters.
This is then only stored and showed next to the Full fuel up.
