Weight reduction is addicting. Once you start it's hard to stop :)

Yeah man, gotta take out the sound deadening ****, it's like 30 pounds, get different rims, saved another 40. Full a.c set up is 48 pound, but I dunno when I'm getting rid of it because the parents will get mad (I refuse to use the a/c anyway, so who cares?) I want some race seats too. I can also swap bumper supports and save like 20 or something. Bunch of **** to do. Expect a weight loss thread that's real once I've weigh my interior stuff.

I took out all my ac stuff except the compressor. I just need to get a new belt. I think that weight reduction won't help highway millage as much as stop and go millage.

Why not take the compressor

Why not take the compressor out? I don't think weight matters that much, but you get crazy bragging rights. And also, I figure I'm going to punch it every once and a while, which is where the weight really helps. If I'm as lioght as possible I'll get more thrill when I do punch it and be less tempted to put a huge *** turbo on there.

Whatch your head when you get in the car. I hit my head once on the top edge of the door when i took that rubber stuff off.

Oh, yeah taking rear weight out really helps in fast starts. I could barely do a burnout in my SL1 with all the weight in the trunk out.

Nope, that's just the stock spray getting on there, the inside were actually covered by plastic in the past, so yeah.
