Gas Cubby Icon on iPad

I am currently running iOS 7.1.2 on an iPad Air and after upgrading the Gas Cubby app to 2.6 and then 2.7 the app icon now appears as a old TV test pattern. I have removed and reinstalled the Gas Cubby several times, but icon will not display correctly. While the app is installing on the iPad and I can see the correct icon, but once it completes the icon because the old TV test pattern. I have powered down and reset the iPad, but that did not make a difference. The application works fine other than the icon not appearing correctly. Is this a know issue or is there a fix for this problem?

Interesting! This is definitely the first time I've seen this particular bug being reported.

Could you please post a screenshot showing the app icon?

I'm having the same issue. It started with either the 2.6 or 2.7 update, I'm not sure which. That was before I updated to iOS 8 on my iPad 2. Since updating, the icon is still blank. After that, I upgraded Gas Cubby from free to paid and that made no difference, either.

I tried to upload a screenshot and got a "503 - Service not available error."

Thanks.

I have this issue as well.
Started with v2.6 update on iPad 2 with iOS 7.1.2, iOS 8 didn't fix, v2.7 didn't fix.
I have deleted and reinstalled no fix.

The icon that appears once the Gas Cubby app loads on my iPad is shown below. I have not been able to do anything to get the icon to appear correctly, but the app works correct now that I have updated to version 2.7.

I have the same issue on iPad 3 with iOS 7.1 and 8.0 and Gas Cubby 2.6 and 2.7. I noticed it a few weeks ago if I recall. Maybe related to the change of the app icon (no wood effect, now a flattened icon). This is the paid app, not the free one.
Not an iOS programmer but some thoughts 1) perhaps iPhone apps need to also have icon resources for iPhone and iPad (different pixel size 152x152 vs. 120x120) or 2) maybe used a default resource for iPad instead of resizing your new one.

The iPad icon isn't automatically loading like it has in the past versions. We're having to manually set it.
A fix will be in the next update, which should be soon.

Thanks for your patience everyone!

For what it's worth, that's the same icon that was titled "waiting" for so long. Now all it says is "Gas Cubby."

I just figured it was supposed to look like that and that the new designers had incredibly bad taste.
