Limit to high-mileage between fuel-ups?
I have a new diesel truck, and I'm new to Fuelly. I've been tracking my diesel usage here. But, I'd also like to track DEF (Diesel Exhaust Fluid) usage too. So, I got the truck with 500 miles on it, and just added DEF at 4989 miles. My two "fuel-ups" are in the system, but it cannot figure out the distance between 4989-500. But, as a test I bumped the first "fuelup" from 500 odo to 1000 or so and it was able to calculate it. What's the work around? Insert a "fake" averaged fuel up?
And it sure would be cool to also track DEF under existing vehicles (I created a "fake" vehicle just to track DEF). |
Im not sure creating a false profile to track DEF is the right way to do things, I mean for people researching the same truck, your truck getting over 1000 MPG will be throwing off the average figures etc and kind of misleading people.
