Odometer Reading v/s Miles traveled

Since the input for a fuel up has changed to the actual odometer reading as opposed to miles travel on that tank (Trip) how can I input if I missed a fuel up?

My last logged fuel up the odometer reading was 2541. I went on a trip last week and didn't track mileage. Now I've filled up and my odometer reading is 4523. The website thinks I've went 2000 miles on my last tank of gas.

What am i missing?

Check the "I missed a fuel-up" box when you're adding a fillup (under the date/time).

Also, if you prefer tracking by Trip Miles you can make that change via Edit Vehicle preference page.
