Poor resolution displayed in L/100KM

The display of average fuel consumption for vehicles is displayed with poor resolution compared with US MPG. With US MPG, resolution of .1 mile per gallon displayed in graphs. With L/100KM resolution on the graph is limited to .5 instead of .1 This lack of precision/resolution makes a comparative study of vehicles in metric too coarse and imprecise. Please increase L/100KM to .1 resolution.

.1 L/100KM is significant, roughly 2 MPG US!

Thank you

Where are you referring to?
Graphs?
US MPG on the graphs goes in whole numbers, and L/100km goes in .5

Can you provide a screenshot?

Hello,

Yes, here is a shot of vehicle comparison for a given year. As you can see the resolution is .5 L/100KM, which is much too high. Several vehicles fall in between these values. In some cases, there are many vehicles that get (for example in some cases) 5.8 L/100KM but are being rolled up in to 6 L/100KM. This is very miss leading as .1 L/100KM is over 2 US MPG, so it's very very coarse. As you can see, this same information in US MPG is more finely detailed allowing a more precise analysis of the data because it goes down to 1 MPG. To be fair for metric users, we need at least .1 L/100KM to see the same precision. You can see that the large 6L/100KM has no counterpart in US MPG, it's spread out over several 1MPG bars between 38 and 42MPG. A big difference.

Thanks

Thanks for the detailed reply/information.

I'll pass this along to Freddie for review.
