Account suspended for15 minutes
 

I am trying to set up the Fuelly app on my phone. I downloaded and tried to log in. It told me I had the wrong account info.

So I came to the website to reset my password, or something. I can't log in there either. So I hit the "Forgot password" link. Clicked the link in the email I received. Was taken to a page where I could enter the new password twice. Did that, and then hit "Log in". Entered the new password I JUST CREATED and get told it was an invalid password.

Apparently tried to entered my correct password too many times, got the "Account disabled for 15 minutes" message.

What retarded thing is the site doing?

Sorry you were having trouble. Any chance you were using auto-fill when entering your username or email address? Sometimes an added space before or after (normally before) can throw things off.

Let me know if you run into similar issues again.

Bumping this old thread in case anyone runs into this issue as I just did. Its the only topic I found on this 15 minute suspension error.

If you get this error, try logging into to this forum's main page from its Login link. If that works go back to the main Fuelly site and try logging in again.

This worked for me after I had tried multiple times from the main site (not using auto fill), waiting the 15 minutes, not waiting, clearing cookies, and still the same after resetting my password. When I decided to do a more thorough search in this forum. Since I had just reset my password I was curious if this forum would work with my new pw or old one. Login worked with the new pw. So that to me proved the new password created successfully and that I was typing it correctly. On a hunch I immediately went back to the main site even though it hadn't been 15 minutes since my last attempt with error, *Boom*... login successful. Cant explain it but hope this suggestion helps anyone else than runs into this.
