New Car - Starting mileage
Just bought a new car, and it has 104 miles on the odometer. How should I account for this so my first fillup calculates correctly?

Start with your first actual fillup.

I see you've already added fuel and entered it, please delete this. A fuel up is not simply adding fuel, it's adding fuel, driving a certain distance then refuelling, that's the only was to get accurate figures.

With your first complete fill up on the car, just record the odometer as is then. Fuelly won't calculate fuel economy on that fill. The entry gives a starting point to compensate for the odometer reading for future fills.

Most likely your new car came with a full tank of gas. If you have a 15 gallon gas tank, for example, start your Fuelly at 104 miles with 15 gallons at a $0.00 price, because you got it for free. Your next fill up will be accurate as you drive. That's why I did.
