Fuelly Forums - For Sale: 1994 Civic VX $1500 obo

This is a running and driving Civic VX with 224k on the odometer, that I have owned for nearly 18 years, so I know everything about it. My best friend was the original purchaser. I needed a larger car (Accord), so sadly this has to go.

Aside from a drop in K&N air filter element, the drive train and suspension of this car are completely stock. The engine runs smoothly and the engine light is not on... no codes. Oil has been changed every 4k miles. Timing belt (water pump, seals, tensioner, etc) was changed at 91k, and again at 183k, along with complete fluid flush... all the things called for in honda "major service". Transmission bearing is a little noisy and the clutch will probably need replaced in the next 10k, but does not slip. Shifter bushing is wearing again, so it's not as precise as it should be. The car sat for a few months, so the brakes got some rust on them.

I had the rust around the rear wheel wells cut out and metal patched, a body kit added, and the entire car painted, all professionally in early 2004, but as we all know, rust never stays away. The body kit is very understated... I did not want to look like a ricer.
