I am new. I've had gas cubby free and recently upgraded to regular gas cubby. I'm trying to sync/save the data. I pressed the circle and it says "no account - please setup and/or activate your account to enable sync". I pressed setup. and it says "this email is pending confirmation". It's said that now for about 2 weeks. When I log in online - I have no data. Can you help me get this set up so I can sync? Thanks.

Welcome aboard. Please try capitalizing the first letter in your email address in the app.

I did as you said and lots of things flashed by quickly. I don't get the message anymore, so I guess it's working? So how did changing the first letter to a cap fix it? And where is my data stored now? It;s not located online here. Thanks!! Anita

Not sure exactly. It's an odd work-around for those having sync issues.
The data is still stored (under the same email address) in the sync servers.
Once we release v3 you'll be able to move your data to Fuelly's servers and make it available on Fuelly.com as well.

Okay, the Cap in the EMA worked for me. My data is on my old iPhone 4s. How can I get it into my new iPhone GC app? I exported the data, when I try to send data to GC on the 4s I get "Transfer Failed" The ad-free version of Gas Cubby is not installed" But the About indicates Gas Cubby FREE 2.7

You need the Paid version of Gas Cubby on both devices to sync the data.

make the first letter in your email address a cap on both phones that you are trying to sync and it will sync without any problems just did a 4s to 6

I was receiving the following message, "E-mail is pending confirmation." I read the threads about changing the first letter in my e-mail address to a capital letter. My e-mail address already had a capital letter for the first letter. I changed the first letter to lowercase and the sync worked for me. Thanks.
