Yes Doug, you can disconnect the battery and just use the ICE like a conventional car, that's why I'm not loosing any sleep about the battery condition, if I decide I cant afford to repair or replace immediately, I can still use the car. I'm still learning about the car, its very interesting, I practically learn something new every day.
