GC Beta has broken my data
 

Hi - sorry if this is the wrong forum, I don't appear to have access to the beta forum that was linked from an email.

I've installed GC Beta and synced, and all my entries have been corrupted, seemingly by being interpreted as gallons instead of litres. How can I retrieve my original data (I did take a backup before installing the beta)?

Something similar happened to me as well. Ended up with some entries (rows) with km turned to miles and litres to gallons, while other entries remained metrical. None of the tips I found helped (sync again with different unit setting etc). Couldnt get it back to correct units.

I ended up exporting everything to csv (130+ rows, 4 cars) and performing some excel magic on it. Took me an hour or so but everything is now back as it should. Right now I have to find a way to put the data back. Considering importing into Fuelly or another app.

The support people from Fuelly are working with me to fix the data. It's turning out to be a bit more complicated than I'd hoped, but at least it's moving in the right direction...
