New Fuelup / Total Cost field
So why the need to display fractions of cents? Before I didn't need to enter a decimal point, just the amount.
$99.999 So far I've only had to pay in whole cents :-) They stopped making the 1/2 penny in 1857 and I don't think they ever made a 1/10th penny? |
Irwin,
Good question. I can't think of anything else that is commonly priced with 1/10 of a penny increments. I didn't know the answer so I turned to Google. Here is an article that explains it: How the Practice of Pricing Fuel with 9/10th of a Penny Got Started |
I'm talking about the Total Costs field, not Cost/Gal.
